Approach

Brand begins before design.

Design is the last thing that happens, not the first. Before anything is drawn there is a business to understand, a category to read and a decision the brand exists to make easier. These six phases are how we get there — and we are honest about which ones a given project actually needs.

01

Understand

The brief, the business, and the decision actually in front of you. The brief is where we start. It is not what the project is about.

02

Read

Every conversation, from the first one — what was said, how it was said, and what has not been said yet. The stated problem is rarely the real one.

03

Humanize

A brand is met by a person, never by a market. This is where it stops being a diagram.

04

Define

Positioning, architecture, narrative, name. Written down, so the same argument stops being had.

05

Translate

Identity, systems, packaging, environments. Where a decision becomes something you can hold.

06

Activate

Content, campaigns, launches, stewardship. Launch is not the finish line. It is where the work starts being useful.
